Cookie Shaped Eggs Framed by Toast
Ingredients ~
4 eggs
4 slices of bread
7cm cookie cutters of all shapes
Frying pan and oil
Method ~
- Toast the bread slices till golden.
- Cut shapes with the cookie cutters in the middle of each toast.
- Heat the frying pan and add a little oil.
- Break the egg carefully in the frying pan.
- Immediately add the toast over the egg, framing the yolk in the cut portion.
- Cover the frying pan and cook on slow flame till the egg is cooked through.
- Remove the egg-toast with a wide spatula onto a plate.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
