Cookie Shaped Eggs Framed by Toast

 

Ingredients ~

4 eggs
4 slices of bread
7cm cookie cutters of all shapes
Frying pan and oil

 

Method ~

  1. Toast the bread slices till golden.
  2. Cut shapes with the cookie cutters in the middle of each toast.
  3. Heat the frying pan and add a little oil.
  4. Break the egg carefully in the frying pan.
  5. Immediately add the toast over the egg, framing the yolk in the cut portion.
  6. Cover the frying pan and cook on slow flame till the egg is cooked through.
  7. Remove the egg-toast with a wide spatula onto a plate.
  8. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
